Set up the player

Speed, skip intervals, Smart Rewind After Pause, Voice Boost and even volume across books.

Steps

1. Speed runs from 0.5× to 3.0× in 0.05 steps and is remembered for each book. Set a default in Settings → Playback.
2. Skip forward and back are each adjustable from 5 to 120 seconds in Settings → Playback.
3. Smart Rewind After Pause backs up a little after a pause: a few seconds after a short break, more after a night. Choose how much, or turn it off, in Settings → Playback.
4. Voice Boost, in the speed controls, helps with muddy narration.
5. Level Narration Volume evens out loudness between books.
