Pair an ebook and sync it
Add the EPUB to its audiobook, then sync the two so the text follows the narration.
Steps
- Open the audiobook's page and add its EPUB.
- Open the ⋯ menu and choose Sync Chapters.
- Pick a method: Chapter Sync (instant, matches chapters by title), Sample Sync (minutes, approximate sentences) or Full Sync (longest, the book transcribed on your device chapter by chapter, with sentence and word highlighting).
- Each chapter becomes usable as soon as it finishes. You can read and listen while the rest is working.
- If chapter titles don't match at all, use Manual Sync to link audio chapters to text chapters by hand.
If it doesn't work

| The highlight is in the wrong place. | Open the ⋯ menu, choose Re-sync Chapters and pick a stronger method, such as Full Sync. Check that the ebook is the same edition and translation. |
| Chapter Sync did nothing useful. | Chapter Sync matches by title. When titles are numbers or missing, use Sample Sync, Full Sync or Manual Sync. |
