Add your own audiobook

Import DRM-free audiobooks you own from Files or AirDrop: M4B, M4A, MP3, AAC, FLAC, WAV or AIFF, or a .zip of them.

Fig. G2.1 · Watch it done

Steps

  1. Put the files on your iPhone or iPad: download them to Files, save them to iCloud Drive, or AirDrop them from a Mac.
  2. In the Library or Books tab, tap the + button.
  3. Pick the audio. For a book that comes as many MP3s, select all of them together, or pick the store's .zip.
  4. Voxlight reads the title, author, narrator, cover and chapters from the files' own tags where they have them.
  5. Files that belong to one book (Part 1, Part 2 …) become a single book with chapters.
